Watched a cool thing happen today. A mama cat, w 2 3-wk old kittens of her own, adopted 5 orphan 2-wk old kittens & began nursing them.

I don't wear flip-flops, I can't stand anything between my toes. But judging from others here, this is very true!
Very true. My kids LOVE them. Grace always has a blow out. I have to explain they are for the beach or in the house only. When we are on the go, we cannot afford a blow out.... so I make her carry real shoes in her purse. We've listened to Margaritaville etc.... yes she refuses to believe that flipflops suck.
i live in flippy floppies. @netgrrl do you have any home remedies for canine allergies? My dog is allergic to *everything * and I can usually keep it under control by watching his food, keeping him clean and his flea prevention up to date with the occasional benadryl, but he is miserable. He chewed a hole in his back the size of my fist while we were at work today. I hate having to take him in for a steroid injection because they make him miserable also. I just don't know what to do for him. Any suggestions?
End to my Monday. Starter out in my car. Found out when I left work to go home at 8:30pm. FML I'm thankful for my grown son & his buddies.

Walter has issues. Walter is going to take a trip to get his pockets pinched later this week. This should improve Walter's mood considerably.
Since I started helping out at a no-kill shelter I've really had my eyes opened. Shelters do so much with so little. Help if you can.
If you can't volunteer, even simple donations like a bag of dog food or cat food, even just your newspapers, all help. Right now at the shelter I help at the things we need most are simple things like newspapers (for puppy kennels) and garbage bags.
The actress Pam Grier lives in Castle Rock and she does a lot for the shelters out here trying to get attention and encouraging donations of crates, etc. We get all our dogs from shelters. World has enough dogs in it already.
So... Tim Burton is doing a remake of Dark Shadows & Johnny Depp is going to be Barnabas???

LOL yes. The cat tree goes all the way to the ceiling so I had cats all trying to get my attention.

That's awesome! I still want a Fitbit. But I put if off again as my main exercise is biking now, and I'm such a chicken about falling, I'm not walking much extra a day :/
I still love my Fitbit bc it gives me an overall record of my day. If I ride the exercise bike I just manually record the activity on the Fitbit app. :)
