You want to hear something frightening? The questions after you tell a bunch of Appalachian hillbillies that they're giving their 8th and 9th graders a netbook to carry for school. And they're responsible for it.
Just as frightening is the guy who's trying to explain to the parents what those things are in the first place, let alone answering the questions they have about them.
Yeah, I held my head in my hands for a few, and then answered a couple of questions from the people around me who were clearly nervous, and ultimately very accusatory.
Your boys going to hold onto it, @kelleeboo?
Well, they didn't. But, it was a great game. 1-1, and 11 rounds in the shootout? Hope Robidas is back quickly, but it didn't look good.
Ready to watch the 'Hawks tear up the Stars, @kelleeboo?
Tonight is the first game on my 9-game plan but I had to sell my tix because we have prior plans. Stars will still win though. :)
Can I share the level of disdain I have for the Pittsburgh penguins? /grrrr

Would it be wrong of me to buy a 2 seater roadster, when not a one of my three kids could fit in it? Decisions, decisions...
Hoping that today sucks less than yesterday. Yesterday started less than awesome, and continued most of the day.
Log in to commentGo Stars! And Let's go, Buffalo! Like to find St. Lou and Detroit some chances to play games without gaining points.
If you can beat up on Detroit and St. Louis, I don't care if you win another game ;) Oh. And Vancouver.
Gonna be a long day. I don't think I got my 3 hour minimum of sleep.

Log in to commentJust finished up the Steve Jobs biography. Great read. Great visionary. Great businessman. Not much of a father.
Barely scratched the surface, really. It was a good read, but superficial in many ways. It's like the author was really afraid to say too much.
I agree that it wasn't all that in depth. What it did, though, was painted the picture of a person, and not a God. It showed that he had his own problems. He wasn't much of a father, and he was an asshole to work for. But, there was a substantial up side to working for him. And that is significance.
Time to celebrate Sharpie's hat trick and the 'Hawks four goal third period, for the win!
If you ever find your self in Michigan wine country (northwestern lower peninsula), check out North Peak. Good brew and food foodie type food. The brew is Great Divide Titan IPA.
Happy thanksgiving cliquers! After a bit of a mishap with the bird yesterday, the new one is all brined and ready. Woot!
