Thanks! My wife actually just saw on HGTV or something that a metal roof raises the value of your home by about $1.35/sq ft, too!

Nah. The metal was laid down over the shingles, so there is plenty of sound deadening up there. Almost wish it was louder. That also protects against hail damage, because there isn't empty spade behind the metal.
