Already filed. Already spent my return. Already ready for next year's return (it'll have school on it again)!

I don't have to file.

We filed back in February also. It had a little extra oomph this year because of Applesauce, our last minute tax credit. Ours went to a bunch of responsible crap that wasn't any fun at all.

Ours too, chelle. Like the mortgage while Andy was unemployed

I make too much to qualify for a child tax credit. I'm kinda scared of next year's taxes kicking my ass because I don't own a house anymore.

We don't get an earned income credit for them, but we do get some sort of deduction for them which was nice. Buuuuut didn't last long. Honestly, unless it's a state thing I don't think owning our home has made a huge difference in our return, but we don't itemize either.

I think since Andy will be on a 1099 from now on we'll have to pay in. We always had to pay in when he worked for blackwater. this year we got back like $6k. We needed it though, and we're still stretching it out for mortgage payments while he's getting on his feet with the new job.
