Ive been trying for a year. I don't really stick with it tho. I hate routine. One day ill speak Japanese!!
No worries. With as little as I know, I feel Japanese is easier to learn than English. The difficult part is the English and Japanese can't be directly translated. That's where the immersion comes into play. To get started, you should memorize the Japanese kana.. Hiragana and katakana for starters.
I'll look that up. I have the first two Rosetta stone levels for it. I get deterred on the sentences. I cant make sense of all of the filler words and i get frustrated. Even though I think the point is to be able to pick out the words you've already learned.
