Apple says no. They don't allow browsing of the camera roll from Safari. I even entered a bug report for it an they said a fix is in the works. But that was pre-ios5, so I'm not holding my breath. @challgren was also contemplating an email feature at one point, but we just haven't gotten around to setting that up.
