I've been in Japan since the 8th, be returning on the 21st. Been eating good, been walking till my legs feel like they're made of lead. Astro-Boy turns out to be fictional.

People will spend the $ to come to Hawaii and enjoy the scenery. We who live here will ignore it, much to our loss.
Visiting Hawaii is on my bucket list. I hope I'm able to do that sooner rather than later.
spend a few days in SF & then make the 5 1/2 hour plane trip over. The Big Island is astounding and I highly recommend it, but life there is very laid back, which is perfect for me, but not so for people that need a life. Hope you do come to visit!

Mickey and Minnie were giving her the "shaka" sign so she gave one right back. She's local alright.
Batgirl g/daughter was accosted by several Japanese tourists who wanted to take pictures with her. Random people came up to her to give her candy. She had a blast after one scare from an idiot made up to look scary to 4yr olds.

this morning g/son did not want his normal cracker snack. He wanted CANDY. He cried a bit, but his parents ignored him. When you're 1, you have so little control.
Letterman is on tonite with a skeleton crew, no audience, and Denzel is his first guest. Haw!
This is a replica of the Byodo-In temple in Japan. Only the one in Japan is run-down, but amazingly intact for having being built in the 16th Century. This one is on Oahu.

I went to Vegas in September, towards the end of the month. I played on 2 slot machines, one was a Megabucks machine and the other was this.

It was shocking to see such a hard rain. It hasn't rained like this is in over a year. Don't have to believe in climate change to realize it happening. Rain stopped in 10 minutes & all was droughty again.
While going to retrieve my car I spotted a hula lesson going on. Watch it full screen & in 1080HD. Really trippy.
A long day driving half way around the island and then ending up taking pictures of the red sun after a voggy day on the south shore.

Vantz can't danz and mom can't swim. However, the place she was at, is under 5 foot deep all the way out to the wall. She had no way of knowing. Baby seems happy though.

The reason I like Waikiki beach? Realism. Everything is so real, nothing's artificial. Everyone leaves their plastic surgery at home.
